Nottingham Forest will be desperate for points in their survival Premier League battle when they host Aston Villa at the City Ground on 12 April.


Current Form

The Reds secured a superb 3-0 victory away to Tottenham Hotspur on 22 March and they are undefeated in their last three league games, recording two draws, and one win.

 

Forest, however, are winless in their last seven home matches in the Premier League, having registered four draws, and three defeats at the City Ground. 

 

Meanwhile, Villa claimed a comfortable 2-0 win over West Ham United at home on 22 March as they snapped their four-match winless run in the league.  

 

The Villans, however, are winless in their last three away matches in the Premier League, having recorded two consecutive defeats and one draw as the visitors. 


Team News

Newcastle United will be without Sven Botman, Emil Krafth, Bruno Guimarães, Lewis Miley and Fabian Schär, who are nursing injuries, but there are no suspension concerns for the home side.

 

Aston Villa will be without the injured Boubacar Kamara, but there are no suspension concerns for the UEFA Champions League hopefuls.
