As arguably the most keenly anticipated fixture in Serie A Matchday 31, Napoli and AC Milan will do battle at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona with both sides holding lofty ambitions for the 2025/26 campaign.
Milan will head into the next game sitting in second position on the log, six points behind table toppers Inter Milan after accumulating 63 points from 30 matches.

Napoli are among the most in-form teams in Serie A currently, after securing a 1-0 win against Cagliari last time out. Overall, Napoli have recorded four wins and one defeat in their last handful of Serie A assignments.

Reflecting on Milan’s 3-2 win against Torino, Massimiliano Allegri believes that a solid second-half performance led to his side collecting maximum points at the San Siro.
“In the first half, Torino formed a solid central block and we forced the play inside a bit too much.
“We struggled. After taking the lead, we should have defended better.
“In the second half, the players did well, because when you concede an equalizer 30 seconds before halftime, and after the loss to Lazio, it’s not easy to produce a second half like that.”
