Kick-off is at 20:30

Manchester City will be targeting nothing but a Premier League win when they host Nottingham Forest at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, 4 March.

Current Form

The Citizens secured a 1-0 victory over Leeds United away on 28 February as they extended their unbeaten run to six matches in the English top-tier.

The Citizens are also undefeated in their last 13 home matches in the Premier League, having recorded 11 wins and two draws at the Etihad Stadium.

Meanwhile, Forest succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Brighton away on 1 March and they are winless in their last five matches in the league.

The Tricky Trees are also winless in their last two away matches in the Premier League, having registered two consecutive defeats as the visitors.

Team News

Chris Wood, Willy Boly, Nicola Savona, and John Victor are the Forest players, who are sidelined due to injuries, but there are suspension issues.

Meanwhile, City also do not have suspension worries, but the title contenders could be without Nico O'Reilly, Josko Gvardiol, Mateo Kovacic and Max Alleyne, who are nursing injuries.

Quotes

“Always I think when you arrive at two months, now it’s three months, now February is over, March arrive here, everything is a mindset,” Man City manager Pep Guardiola said after his side's win over Leeds.

“It’s okay, one game at a time and do everything to win the game. At the end it is what you have to do.”

“There are some players coming back, Jeremy’s [Doku] back, Erling [Haaland] will be back, and as much as you have players fit, we will do it."

Head-to-Head

Man City claimed a 2-1 win over Forest in their last Premier League meeting, which was at City Ground in December 2025.

The Citizens have won two of their last three league games against the Tricky Trees, who emerged victorious in the other match.
