2026 MotoGP World Championship
Round 4: Estrella Galicia 0,0 Grand Prix of Spain
Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto, Jerez de la Frontera
24-26 April
Enduro VR46 Racing’s Fabio Di Giannantonio will target a return to the MotoGP podium when the season resumes with Round 4, the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Grand Prix of Spain, held from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 April.
FDG has enjoyed a solid campaign thus far and is, in fact, the leading Ducati rider – ranking ahead of even the Ducati Lenovo factory team duo of Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia. The 27-year-old Italian has racked up 50 points in the three rounds, leaving him in fourth place on the standings behind the Aprilia Racing duo of Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin, as well as Red Bull KTM’s Pedro Acosta.

The Enduro VR46 Racing rider has superb one-lap pace – as demonstrated by claiming back-to-back pole positions in Brazil and the United States – though he needs to work on his consistency. In Brazil, he finished on the podium in both races (second in the Sprint, third in the Grand Prix), but at the Circuit of the Americas he did not finish the Sprint and came home in fourth in the full-length race.
Di Giannantonio has had some notable battles with Marc Marquez this season, but says he is enjoying the challenge of going wheel-to-wheel with the reigning MotoGP World Champion: “As always, a bit aggressive with him, but super-fun, at the end clean, so happy. I enjoyed it. Maybe I enjoyed it more because I won the battle!”

Di Giannantonio’s history at the Spanish GP in the premier class is nothing to write home about, though he has seen a growing improvement through the years. In his rookie year in 2022 he was 18th, while 2023, 2024 and 2025 saw 12th, seventh and fifth place finishes respectively. Continuing on that trajectory would indeed bring the Italian back to the podium.
