Ryder Cup rookie Rasmus Hojgaard will be in confident mood when he heads to Japan for the
Baycurrent Classic from 9-12 October.
The Dane was part of the European team that retained the trophy after beating the United States by a score of 15 to 13 at Bethpage last month.
Hojgaard didn't have a great weekend though, as he was the only player on either team not to score a single point albeit after being involved in just two matches.
But the 24-year-old bounced back one week later with a strong showing at the Sanderson Farms Championship, shooting a 7-under 65 in the final round to finish tied for third.
Hojgaard, who is ranked No. 43 in the world, has really upped his game in the second half of 2025 which also saw his finish second at the Danish Golf Championship and tied for second at the European Masters.
"I think my game got sharper and sharper as the week went on. Putted great, especially today. I've been putting great all week, but especially today. I feel like the hole was a big bucket, so that's always nice when you have that feeling," he said.
"Every time you play good golf it's a big confidence boost. Yeah, I'm looking forward to Japan. It's one of my favorite spots to go to, so hopefully I can take some of this with me."
