Chelsea set sights on 15th FA Cup final appearance

Chelsea FC will be hoping to advance to the FA Cup final for the 15th time when they take on Manchester City in a semi-final match on April 17.
 
The Blues have participated in 14 finals and they clinched the trophy eight times having lifted it in 1970, 1997, 2000, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2018. 
 
They edged out Manchester United 1-0 in their last final appearance in 2018 at the Wembley Stadium.

Chelsea had recorded a comfortable 2-0 win over Southampton in a semi-final encounter at the same venue in April 2018. 
 
Meanwhile, Chelsea are undefeated in their last two matches having defeated Crystal Palace 4-1 in a Premier League encounter on April 10.
 
The Blue are set to lock horns with Portuguese champions FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League game on April 13.
 
The match will then be followed by the clash against Manchester City as Chelsea look to keep their hopes of clinching their ninth FA Cup trophy alive.

Christian Pulisic, the Chelsea winger, outlined his and team's confidence ahead of their clashes with Porto and City. 
 
"I’m feeling really confident, I’m feeling very good with the team as well. It was a big response from the last Premier League game as well," Pulisic said. 
 
"Personally I am feeling very good. I am happy to be playing and helping the team whichever way I can. It was nice to get on the scoresheet and I am feeling very strong at the moment.
 
"I am doing my best to take care of myself. I have got to take care of my body and be strong and healthy for all the games."
 
The last time Chelsea and City met in the FA Cup was on 21 February 2016.
 
Chelsea proved too strong for City as the Blues emerged 5-1 winners in the fifth round match which was played at Stamford Bridge.
