Man United, Arsenal hoping for recovery in top-four chase

2018/19 Premier League

Round 37 preview

3-6 May 2019

Manchester United and Arsenal will both be hoping results go their way this coming weekend as they look to recover in the race for a top-four Premier League finish.

United are long-shot outsiders to finish in the UEFA Champions League places, having been held 1-1 at home by Chelsea this past weekend to be three points off the top four. This Sunday they will be away to already-relegated Huddersfield Town.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team missed a great opportunity to boost their hopes in the stalemate with the Blues, having put up a much better performance compared to their recent disappointing showings.

Arsenal have also slipped off a cliff in terms of form, losing their last three Premier League in succession and conceding nine goals in the process. Their latest setback was a 3-0 thrashing at Leicester City.

Huddersfield Town have already been relegated from the Premier League.

This weekend the Gunners are at home to Brighton & Hove Albion, whose weak attack will surely not stretch their defence as much as it has been in recent games, but manager Unai Emery may have one eye on their semifinal tie against Valencia in the UEFA Europa League.
