As two sides hoping to maintain their positive form at the high end of the
Serie A table, Roma will welcome Inter Milan to Stadio Olimpico in matchday seven on Saturday.
Roma moved into second position on the log last time out, as they recorded an important 2-1 win against Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium ahead of the International break.
While Roma shares 15 points alongside table toppers Napoli, Inter are in fourth place following their rampant 4-1 victory over Cremonese last time out.
Roma and Inter are among the best performing teams in Serie A currently and boast a three-match winning streak ahead of this weekend’s action.
As a figure who often made his feelings known about VAR, Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini recently expressed that he cannot get used to the idea of video assistant referees.
“Trying to dribble in the box to earn a penalty is part of the skill, but I can’t stand VAR,” Gasperini said.
“It distances me from football as I’ve always understood it.”
