Newcastle United will face off with Leicester City in an English Premier League match at St James' Park on January 1.
This will be the 26th league meeting between the two teams in the English Premier League era.

However, Leicester won the last league meeting between the two teams on the 29th of September 2019.

They secured a 5-0 victory over Newcastle in a match which was played at the King Power Stadium.
Ricardo, the Leicester right-back, says they will now focus solely on the Premier League after helping his side reach the Carabao semi-finals.
“It’s been so much time that Leicester have been trying to [get to a] semi-final,” Ricardo said.
“It’s good to go to have more games in this competition and now we will focus on the Premier League and then we have time to think [about it].”
Newcastle are hoping to retain their status in the English Premier League for the third year running.
They will look to young midfielder Matthew Longstaff, who has been a revelation for Newcastle in the current campaign.
Meanwhile, Leicester are hoping to go all the way and clinch their second Premier League title this season.
The Foxes, who are under the guidance of former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers, will look to their deadly striker Jamie Vardy.
