2025/26 Premier League
Matchday 9
Brentford FC vs Liverpool FC
Gtech Community Stadium
London, England
Saturday, 25 October 2025
Kick-off is at 21h00
Brentford FC will be looking to add to Liverpool FC's misery when they meet in the
Premier League at Gtech Community Stadium on 25 October.
Current Form
The Bees emerged as 2-0 winners over West Ham United away on 20 October as they bounced back to winning ways in the league.
Prior to that, Brentford had lost to Manchester City at home and the defeat ended their three-match unbeaten run at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Meanwhile, Liverpool succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United at home on 19 October and they are winless in their last three matches in the league.
The Reds are also winless in their last two away matches in the Premier League, having recorded two consecutive defeats on the road.
Team News
Brentford have no suspension concerns, but Aaron Hickey, Paris Maghoma and Antonio Milambo are the players on the club's injury list so far.
Liverpool, on the other hand, have Ryan Gravenberch, Giovanni Leoni, Alisson Becker, Wataru Endo and Stefan Bajcetic on their injury list, but there are no suspension concerns.
Quotes
"I'm very pleased. In the first few minutes, we didn't get as much control as we would have liked," Brentford manager Keith Matthews said after his side's win over West Ham.
"But once we got our front three involved in the game and started to dictate proceedings... I thought we were very good, overall. We were good with the ball, how we pressed, and set-pieces.
"Unfortunately, we didn't score from one - and it was a very, very competent performance."
Head-to-Head
Liverpool secured a 2-0 win over Brentford in their last meeting in the league, which was in January 2025 at Gtech Community Stadium.
Therefore, the Reds are undefeated in their last five Premier League matches against the Bees, having registered five successive wins.
