LIVERPOOL VS CARDIFF CITY – ANFIELD, LIVERPOOL – SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27th

The Reds have recorded back-to-back victories since a 0-0 draw against defending Premier League champions Manchester City before the international break, beating Huddersfield last weekend in the Premier League before brushing past Red Star Belgrade in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. Last season’s top scorer Mo Salah found the back of the net three times in those two outings, ending a four-match drought.
Cardiff City picked up their first maximum points of the campaign when they trounced Fulham 4-2 in Wales – a result which lifts the Bluebirds out of the dreaded relegation zone at the Cottagers expense.

Premier League Preview – Gameweek 10

Liverpool and Cardiff have only faced each other twice in the Premier League, in 2013-14 during Cardiff’s sole season in England’s top flight. The Reds did the double over Cardiff as they ultimately condemned to relegation come the end of the season winning the corresponding fixture 3-1 with the departed duo of Luis Suarez and Raheem Sterling both on the scoresheet for the hosts.

CRYSTAL PALACE VS ARSENAL – SELHURST PARK, LONDON – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28th

The first of our Super Sunday showdown’s serves up a mismatched London derby featuring Crystal Palace - on a four-game winless run in the Premier League - and Arsenal who are on an 11-match winning streak in all competitions under new manager Unai Emery.

Premier League Preview – Gameweek 10

The Eagles have just four top-flight victories against the Gunners in their entire history. The most recent of those came in April 2017 when the hosts turned in a hugely convincing 3-0 win in front of a pumping Selhurst Park crowd, ending a run of 14 matches without success against their more illustrious neighbours since 1994.
The corresponding fixture last season ended 3-2 to the visitors in Arsene Wenger’s final season in charge with Alexis Sanchez twice on the scoresheet.

MANCHESTER UNITED VS EVERTON – OLD TRAFFORD, MANCHESTER – SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28th

Everton will be optimistic of taking something from their Super Sunday encounter at Old Trafford. Following last weekend’s last-gasp equaliser by former club Chelsea, coupled with defeat to Juventus in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, now means Jose Mourinho’s side are on a rock-bottom run having picked up just one win from their last seven matches in all competitions.

Premier League Preview – Gameweek 10

Marco Silva’s men find themselves in the top-half of the table once again, ahead of this weekend’s opponents Manchester United, after notching up their third successive league win since defeat at Arsenal last month.
The Red Devils are unbeaten in seven matches against Everton in all competitions since a 3-0 defeat in April 2015 which capped a run of four defeats in six against the Toffees prior to that. Romelu Lukaku is in line to face their former employers once again on Sunday with the Belgian forward on target in a 4-0 win for the hosts in this fixture last season.
