Kick-off is at 12:30

As one of the teams hoping to mount a lasting challenge for the 2025/26 Serie A title this season, AC Milan will aim to return to winning ways when they face Cremonese away this Sunday.

Cremonese, who will be at home this weekend, are currently 17th on the Serie A standings with 24 points to their name after 26 matches played. With relegation a real prospect this season, Cremonese shares the same number of points as Lecce, who are in the dreaded 18th spot.

AC Milan on the other hand, sit in second spot on 54 points from 26 games, boasting a strong record of 15 wins, 9 draws and only 2 losses, while they are 10 points away from table toppers Inter Milan.

Cremonese last saw out a 3-0 defeat to AS Roma at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, while Milan suffered a 1–0 home loss to Parma, a result that added to their two match winless run.

With Milan having lofty ambitions this season, the Italian giants are on a run of two wins, two draws and one defeat in their last five while Cremonese recorded four defeats an one draw in their previous handful.

In what was news that dented the morale of AC Milan fans this week, the club recently announced that Ruben Loftus-Cheek will be out of action for around eight-weeks, following a nasty head collision with the Parma goalkeeper on Sunday.

“The player was admitted to the Maxillofacial Surgery and Dental Clinic department of ASST Santi Paolo e Carlo, where today he underwent surgery performed by Dr. Luca Autelitano,” AC Milan confirmed.

“The operation to reduce and stabilise the fracture was completely successful. Ruben is doing well and has already been discharged.

“The estimated recovery time is around eight weeks.”
