World No. 15 Matt Fitzpatrick will be hoping to put himself in contention for the second week in succession at the Valspar Championship.
The Englishman came close to his first PGA Tour win since the RBC Heritage in April 2023 when he finished second at the Players Championship.
Fitzpatrick went into the final round at TPC Sawgrass five shots off the lead, but he made six birdies to challenge Cameron Young for honours before bogeying the 18th hole.
It was his best performance of 2026 thus far and his second top 10 since finishing ninth at the Phoenix Open, but the 31-year-old admitted it was hard to take after getting himself into such a good position.
Asked whether he felt pride or disappointment at being in contention to the end at TPC Sawgrass, Fitzpatrick told Sky Sports: "It's both. It's definitely both.
"I have high expectations of myself. I believe in my ability coming down the stretch and I don't necessarily feel that I can get myself in these positions enough.
"I feel like I have done over the last 12 months. I've definitely done a better job of it, but I feel like when I do get into these positions, I give myself a good chance to go on and win.
"Today was another one of those days where, realistically, I'm a gnat's doodah off getting into a playoff and winning or whatnot. So, it's a tough one to take."
