Daniel Cronje has put himself in the frame to win the Order of Merit when he tees it up in the Betway Big Easy Tour Final at the Waterkloof Golf Club from 17-19 March.
The South African is pushing Joe Sullivan for honours after his dominant victory in the Play Off last month which earned him bonus points and moved him up to second place in the OoM standings.
Cronje carded a 20-under 196 to beat Tristan Leonard by six strokes at Modderfontein Golf Club and record his second win of the 2025-26 season.
The 25-year-old made a strong start to the campaign, finishing in the top 10 four times in the opening seven Big Easy Tour events before claiming success at Killarney Country Club in October 2025.
Cronje is 166.77 points behind Sullivan and has set his sight on picking up more bonus points in Pretoria as he looks to chase down the Englishman.
"Coming into the Play Off was trying to finish as high up as I can, and try to chase him (Sullivan) down," Cronje said after his triumph in Johannesburg.
"Obviously, this is a big step; a big stepping stone. I know there are some bonus points and there will be more points up for grabs at The Final. So, we'll try to etch more onto that lead out there."
