Having been compared to Rory Mcllroy in the past, Corey Conners will hope to emulate the reigning Masters champion at the upcoming
2025 Truist Championship later this week.
What to know about Conners
Hailing from Canada, Conners had five top 10 finishes this year. Conners’ most notable showing came at the recent Master’s showpiece, where he finished in eighth position.
Conners then took part in the RBC Heritage where he could only manage T49 on the stacked list of competitors.
As it stands, Conners currently occupies 22
nd position on the PGA Tour World Rankings.
What did he say
“It’s a sour taste in my mouth right now,” Conners said regarding his showings at the Masters.
“Not the Sunday I certainly was hoping for. I just didn’t get the ball in the hole, didn’t score it like I wanted to.”
