After returning to winning ways in
Serie A last weekend, Torino and Atalanta will lock horns in matchday four at the Olympic Grande Torino Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Torino commenced their 2025/26 league campaign with a 5-0 loss to Inter, which was followed by a 0-0 draw with Fiorentina at the end of August.
Then, in a positive turn of events, Torino came away with a 1-0 win against Roma on Sunday, which propelled the club to ninth on the log.
As for Atalanta, who are sitting in 7
th position on the table, will go into their next league assignment with a 4-1 win over Lecce, in a game that took place at the Gewiss Stadium on Sunday.
Prior to the result against Lecce, Atalanta recorded back-to-back draws against Pisa and Parma respectively.

Speaking after his side’s recent win against Lecce, Atalanta coach Ivan Juric praised his side’s ability to create numerous goal scoring opportunities despite ‘tough’ circumstances.
"It was a tough game, like every Serie A match this year. In the second half we created a lot and could have scored more goals; the players gave everything today,” Juric said.
“In the first half we were a bit slow moving the ball—on the left side everyone is right-footed and sometimes we slow the build-up—but then we loosened up and started creating chances.”
