Friday, 9 May 2025
Kick-off is at 19:45
In what has been an intense race for European football through the Italian
Serie A, AC Milan and Bologna will go toe-to-toe in a keenly anticipated affair during Matchday 36.
Current form
Sitting in seventh-place, Bologna recorded back-to-back draws against Udinese and Juventus in their previous two league outings.
Despite their dip in form, Bologna remain one point adrift of fourth place heading into their next Serie A assignment.
While Milan will take on Genoa in Matchday 35, the popular Serie A outfit recorded just two wins in their last five games.
Team news
While Milan welcomed Luka Jovic and Kyle Walker back to full fitness, the Italian giants are still without the services of Tammy Abraham, Warren Bondo and Ricardo Sottil. As for Bologna, the Emilia-Romagna side are sweating injury status to players such as Estanis, Dan Ndoye and Emil Holm.
Quotes
"We just need to work, it’s not like a change of system automatically fixes everything,” AC Milan coach Sergio Conceicao said regarding his team’s recent form in the league.
“The team showed it creates chances in every game, but we lacked balance and defensive solidity,"
