The Red Devils bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Arsenal with a 3-1 win away to Everton before the international break. It has been a difficult start to the campaign for United, who sit eight points off top spot at this early stage of the season.

Midfielder Bruno Fernandes, who scored a brace in victory over the Toffees, believes United have it takes to challenge for the Premier League crown despite their slow start.

"For me, it doesn't matter about the other teams. People may say they're better than us, they have a better first 11 than us, guys who come from the bench are better. People can say what they think, I don't care," Fernandes said on the UTD podcast.

"For a club like United, it's a long time since we won the Premier League. It's too long, I think. So you have to have in your mind - all the players, all the staff - we're here to win. And I think we have that mentality.

"I came to Manchester to win trophies. You're playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world. This club has made history in the past, an amazing history."

West Brom are one of three teams yet to win a game in the Premier League this season. The Baggies suffered a 1-0 loss at home to Tottenham Hotspur last time out to remain in 18th spot on the log standings.

The visitors claimed a 1-0 win on their post recent trip to Old Trafford in 2018, thanks to a solitary strike from Jay Rodriguez and will be hoping to take confidence from that as they aim to climb out of the relegation zone.
