Justin Thomas will be looking to win to finally win the
Tour Championship, having narrowly missed out on the event over the years.
What to know about Thomas
The American star turned professional in 2013, a year after he won the Haskins Award and the Jack Nicklaus Award as the most outstanding collegiate golfer.
Thomas has won 18 PGA tournaments to date and he is also a winner of two major golf championships, winning the PGA Championship in 2017 and 2022.

The former University of Alabama student was in action at the recent BMW Championship in Maryland, USA, where he finished 33rd.
Thomas, who is a former world number one on the Official World Golf Rankings (OWGR), is currently placed fifth on the rankings.
Why Thomas is among the favourites
Thomas tends to perform well in the Tour Championship, having finished as the runner-up on two occasions in 2017 and 2020 and he is now eyeing his maiden win.
Having won the 2025 RBC Heritage, the 32-year-old will be determined to register his second victory of the 2025 PGA Tour season by clinching the Tour Championship.

“I didn’t realize how much I missed winning,” Thomas said on the 18th green after winning the 2025 RBC Heritage.
“I think it was the last thing missing, if you will. It’s hard to say, because obviously careers are so long and there’s so much up and down and lots going on that you never know what point of your career you’re at until it’s over.
“At least for me, I felt like it was the last thing that I needed to do for my own well-being.”
