Serie A
Matchday 26
AS Roma vs Cremonese
Stadio Olimpico
Rome, Italy
Sunday, 22 February 2026
Kick-off is at 20:45
Following a tense draw with reigning Serie A champions Napoli last time out, AS Roma will no doubt be keen to correct their step when they take on Cremonese at Stadio Olimpico this Sunday.
Roma will head into their next match on the back of a 2-2 draw with Napoli during Matchday 25 as they dropped vital points in their bid to finish within a European spot for next season.
The iconic Italian side has been battling with consistency in recent weeks and noted two wins, two draws and one defeat in their last five league outings. Regarding their points tally, Roma are on 47 points after 25 games, while rivals Juventus are one point behind in fifth.
Cremonese have likewise battled to yield positive results during recent game weeks and could only manage two draws and three defeats in their previous handful of Serie A matches.
As it stands, Cremonese are in 16th position with 24 points to their name, just three away from the relegation zone.
Adding to their negative run of form, Cremonese last saw out a 0-0 draw with Genoa at Stadio Giovanni Zini this past Sunday.

Reflecting on AS Roma’s draw with Napoli, Gian Piero Gasperini chose to look at the positives and highlighted his side’s growth in character this season.
“We’ve always had this attitude; we’re fourth in the table. Of course, had we had Malen in the first half of the season, we would have a few more points now.
“But we’ve grown in terms of attitude. We’ve won many games, but we’ve lost many head-to-head matches. We sometimes came close to picking up points.
“We’re doing better in this second half of the season, despite drawing with Milan and Napoli. We’re disappointed with these two results as we came close to winning both games.”
Head-to-head:
Games: 5
AS Roma wins: 3
Cremonese wins: 2
