Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau will be notable absentees at this week's men's golf tournament at the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, after testing positive for Covid-19.
World No. 1 and 2021 US Open champions, Rahm, had to withdraw from the Games after a positive PCR test. It was the second time that the Spaniard has tested positive in the past few months.

In June, he was forced to pull out of the USPGA Memorial Tournament while holding a six-shot lead due to a positive test. The 26-year-old went on to win the US Open a few weeks later.
The Spaniard will be replaced by Jorge Campillo in Tokyo.
American DeChambeau, who won the US Open last year and sits in sixth place on the world rankings, tested positive for the virus before travelling to Japan and has been replaced by Patrick Reed who joins Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele at the Games.

"I am deeply disappointed not to be able to compete in the Olympics for Team USA," DeChambeau said.

"Representing my country means the world to me and it was a tremendous honour to make this team. I wish Team USA the best of luck next week in Tokyo.

"I will now focus on getting healthy, and I look forward to returning to competition once I am cleared to do so," he added.
