After a T50 placing at the PGA Championship earlier in May, Collin Morikawa is hoping to ‘wake up’ as he readies himself for the 2025 PGA Memorial tournament.

What do know about Morikawa
The 28-year-old is currently 4th on the PGA Tour World Ranking after competing at Quail Hollow Golf and Country Club.
Morikawa bagged six PGA Tour wins, which includes two major championships, namely the 202 PGA Championship and also, the 2021 Open Championship.
The Los Angeles-born star last tasted success in 2023, where he took home the Zozo Championship at the Narashino Country Club in Japan.

What did he say
“I set high standards for myself, and when you don’t reach them, sometimes you go a little crazy,” Morikwara expressed after his showing at the PGA Championship.
“But sometimes it wakes you up. For me, at the end of the day, it’s like, how do I just wake up a little bit more, to be firing. You can see the competitiveness in Scottie, right? You can really see that through. That’s what I need to kind of pull out of myself again, because that’s what I had when I first came out.”
