Jorge Martín will be keen to build on his championship lead by winning the British MotoGP and further stretching his advantage at the top of the standings.

Martín produced a determined performance at the German MotoGP at Sachsenring on 12 July, securing fifth place in the Grand Prix.
The 28-year-old collected solid points across the weekend (including a sixth-place finish in the Sprint), which allowed him to retain the championship lead heading into the summer break.

The 2025 Orden del Dos de Mayo winner sits first in the 2026 MotoGP Riders’ standings with 208 points.
Martín leads Ai Ogura by 14 points and holds an 18-point advantage over Marc Márquez in third on 190 with 11 races left.
