With the NBA finals heading swiftly toward a close, the San Antonio Spurs have much work to do to catch the New York Knicks' 2-0 series lead following Game two this past weekend.
As it stands, the Spurs trail the NBA Final series 2-0 after suffering a 105-104 loss at the Frost Bank Center in Game two on Saturday.
The Spurs trailed the Knicks by 14 points midway through the fourth quarter but tied the score at 97-97 with three minutes remaining. San Antonio Spurs then took the lead with less than a minute left on the clock.
With the game heading toward a tense close Jalen Brunson made it 105-104 with seconds left on the clock after he drew a foul that secured his chance from the free-throw line.

Wembanyama had the last attempt at scoring after he attempted a 20-yard shot that rattled off the board as SAS fell agonisingly short.
Nonetheless, Wembanyama was once again the go-getter for his side, claiming 29 points across 40 minutes, while De’Aaron Fox scored 20 in 34 minutes.
