As a team featuring in the NBA Eastern Conference final for the first time since 2018, the Cleveland Cavaliers face a stern test in the form of the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday.
The Cavaliers scrambled their way into the Eastern Conference final following a tense 4-3 series win over the Detroit Pistons.
During game seven of their semi-final obligations, the Cavaliers stormed to a 125-94 win over the Pistons at Little Caesars Arena on Monday.
Donavan Mitchel ended the tie as the Cavaliers highest scorer with 26 points, as he picked up the slack from James Harden who noted a disappointing nine pointer.

Sam Merril and Jarrett Allen added 23 points apiece, with both players featuring for 25 minutes on the court.
Evan Mobley’s much appreciated 21 points added to the Cavaliers overall tally as they stuck their chest out in Detroit.
Regarding their regular season, the Cavaliers finished in fourth position on the Eastern Conference table after securing an impressive 52 wins, with 30 defeats to their name.
