Charles Leclerc will be keen to close the gap to the Mercedes drivers by winning the Canadian Grand Prix.

The Ferrari driver finished fifth in the Miami Grand Prix, unable to match the pace of the top four cars despite Ferrari’s recent upgrades.
Leclerc was running in a potential podium position late in the race but spun on the final lap, hit the wall, and later received a 20-second penalty that dropped him to eighth.
Formula One ambitions
The Monegasque driver sits third in the World Drivers' Championship standings with 59 points after four races.
Leclerc trails Mercedes duo Kimi Antonelli (100) and George Russell (80), but leads Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton (both on 51).
Why Leclerc could shine in Montreal
The 2022 Formula One World Drivers' Championship runner-up has a decent record in Canada, including several podiums and strong performances.
With Ferrari set to unleash major aerodynamic and engine upgrades this weekend, they should help Leclerc on the long straights, and his qualifying speed usually works well on this track.
