Jorge Martin will aim to deliver a strong result at Le Mans and clinch the French MotoGP crown for the second time in his career.

The Aprilia Racing rider had a solid recovery drive at the 2026 Spanish MotoGP at Jerez (Round 4) on 26 April.
Starting from 10th due to a grid penalty, Martin charged to fourth in the main race, scoring 13 points despite late tyre grip issues.

The Spaniard sits second in the 2026 MotoGP Riders' standings with 90 points after four rounds.
Martin trails teammate and championship leader Marco Bezzecchi by 11 points but remains firmly in the title hunt as the 2024 world champion on the competitive Aprilia RS-GP26.

Le Mans has been a strong venue for Martin in the past, highlighted by his dominant 2024 victory (sprint and main race double) where his precise braking and race management shone on the technical Bugatti Circuit.
