Nigeria will be targeting a winning start at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) when they face Burundi in a Group B match Saturday, June 22.
The match is scheduled to be played at the Alexandria Stadium. Kick-off is at 18h00.
The Super Eagles and Swallows have clashed once and the encounter was won by Nigeria.
Nigeria secured a 2-0 win over the Swallows in the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Nigeria's dangerman is Odion Ighalo, who is the most experienced striker in the current Super Eagles squad.
The well-travelled striker will be eager to play an important role in helping his side overcome the Swallows, who are making their debut.
The Super Eagles are under the guidance of German trainer Gernot Rohr, who is keen to guide Nigeria to this year's AFCON title.
A Group B encounter between Guinea and Madagascar will then follow at the Alexandria Stadium. Kick-off is at 21h00.
The Elephants of Guinea are the favourites to win the game against Madagascar's Barea, who will be making their debut appearance in the finals.

The first match of the day will be a Group A game between DR Congo and Uganda at the Cairo International Stadium. Kick-off is at 15h30.
Congo's Leopards are hoping to open their group stage campaign with a victory over the Cranes of Uganda.
