Aprilia Racing's Aleix Espargaro will be looking to build on his maiden
MotoGP win last weekend when he takes to the circuit at the Grand Prix of the Americas on Sunday, April 10.
The Spaniard made a solid enough start to 2022 when he secured P4 in the season-opening Qatar Grand Prix and P9 in the Indonesian Grand Prix.

However, Espargaro's season got even better as he claimed victory in the Argentine Grand Prix, having qualified in pole position and recording the fastest lap.
The 32-year-old, who came 12th in the rider's standings last year with one podium finish, now leads the championship on 45 points, seven ahead of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Brad Binder.

Espargaro is hoping there will be more to come from him and the team after giving Aprilia their first-ever premier-class win.
"It's going to be very difficult but we are in the mix and the fight for the victories. That's for sure!" he declared.
"As I said before, I think we really deserved this. Feet on the ground for sure, the championship is extremely long this year.
"But yes, if we don't make any mistakes then we will be in the mix for the victories and podiums every weekend. I will try my best!"
