The Minnesota Timberwolves will look to put pressure on the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference when the San Antonio Spurs come to town on the morning of Friday, April 8.
The Timberwolves are just outside the top-six with two games remaining in the regular season and they trail the Nuggets by a 0.025 win percentage in the race for an automatic
playoff spot.
Wednesday was a missed opportunity for Chris Finch's team after they crashed to a 132-114 defeat at home to the already-eliminated Washington Wizards.

Karl-Anthony Towns, who contributed 28 points and 10 rebounds, admitted the Timberwolves looked slightly weary and were made to pay by the Wizards.
"We didn't look like a team that was trying to make the playoffs," Towns said. "We looked a little lethargic. Can't afford that on games like this against a team like this.
"It was like a trap game. I've been there when you're out of the playoffs and you just want to spoil everyone's fun. We knew what they were going to come with."
The Spurs have won eight of their last 10 encounters and were rewarded for their fine form with a spot in the play-in tournament after edging the Los Angeles Lakers for 10th position.
Devin Vassell and Keldon Johnson scored 20 points each to help San Antonio beat the Denver Nuggets 116-97 in Colorado on Wednesday to record a third win on the spin.

Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is continuing to take it one game at a time in their bid to reach the playoffs.
"We've got a game on Thursday and we're going to play that," Popovich said. "Not worry about anything else. It's not like we're world beaters."
