2023 RBC Heritage is scheduled to take place in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina between 13 and 16 April.
What to know about the tournament
This PGA tournament was first played in 1969 as the Heritage Golf Classic and the venue for its entire existence has been the Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina.
The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has been the title sponsor of The Heritage since 2012 and it is currently organized by The Heritage Classic Foundation.

Heritage Classic Foundation has announced that five-time RBC Heritage champion Davis Love III will be the 2023 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing Tournament chairman.
Traditionally, the tournament chairman is a member of the Heritage Classic Foundation, but to celebrate the 55th event, the Board of Trustees asked a past champion with a big connection to the number five.
It will be a 146-player field with the event being played out over four days with 43 of the top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking among the top contenders.
Favourites
This year's RBC Heritage field is headlined by three of the best golfers in the world at the moment, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm.
They will be joined by defending champion Jordan Spieth, 2020 winner Webb Simpson and three-time winner Stewart Cink.
While Team RBC ambassadors Sam Burns, Corey Conners, Sahith Theegala, and Cameron Young will also be part of the field.
What Is At Stake
The event will offer Official World Golf Ranking points to the winner, with final points ratings determined ahead of the tournament teeing off on Thursday.
The field will be competing for a $20 million purse and the winner's share is $3,6 million. The winner will also lift the iconic “Sir William Innes” Champions Trophy.

The Heritage Classic Foundation has announced that Coca-Cola Consolidated has signed a five-year extension as the official non-alcoholic beverage provider of the RBC Heritage.
“We are proud to be associated with such an iconic brand who has a history of helping others," said Steve Wilmot, President of the Heritage Classic Foundation.
"Coca-Cola Consolidated’s continued support for almost a half century is unprecedented and has quenched the thirst of our loyal spectators and sponsors."
Coca-Cola products have been served at the RBC Heritage since the event debuted in 1969.
