Rory McIlroy will be determined to win the
Masters' green jacket at Augusta and finally complete his career Grand Slam.
What to know about McIlroy
The Northern Irish superstar is among the greatest golfers of his generation having won 38 professional tournaments including 24 PGA Tour events.
Along with Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods, McIlroy is one of three players to win four majors by the age of 25 having won the US Open, Open Championship and PGA Championship (twice).

The two-time PGA Tour money list winner was in action at the recent 2024 Valero Texas Open where he finished third behind Denny McCarthy and champion Akshay Bhatia.
McIlroy is currently placed second on the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) and he is a former world number one having spent over 100 weeks in that position during his career.

Rory McIlroy will be making his 16th Masters appearance and he is one Masters win away from joining Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Nicklaus, and Woods as winners of the career Grand Slam.
The man nicknamed Rors has top 10s in seven of the past 10 years at the Masters and he will be confident of finally winning the event after finishing third at the Valero Texas Open.
