North meets west when Tottenham make the short trip to Stamford Bridge on Sunday, August 14 to take on Chelsea in the second London derby of the fledgling
Premier League season.
The Blues kicked off their title challenge with a narrow 1-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park, where Jorginho's 45th-minute penalty secured maximum points against their former manager and club legend Frank Lampard.
Thomas Tuchel's side had a mixed pre-season, beating Club America and Udinese but also losing to Arsenal and Charlotte, with the German tactician admitting there remains plenty to improve upon, although he was pleased to turn the tables on Lampard's Toffees, who won this fixture by the same scoreline last term.

"A win is a win is a win and of course it's very important to build now confidence, to build up belief, to build up an atmosphere but also we must be open for improvement, open for criticism, because there are a lot of things to improve," Tuchel said.
"But there are also good things to take away. Chelsea have struggled to take the points here in the last seasons and we got all three with the clean sheet."

Conte was delighted to get a reaction from his players after falling behind to James Ward-Prowse's 12th-minute opener and he continues to see growth in the seven months since he took charge at the club.
"It's a really good start, despite (the fact) we were 1-0 down after 11 minutes. At that moment, we didn't deserve to be 1-0 down, we started well, we were leading the game, but you know very well that football is unpredictable," the Italian told SPURSPLAY.
"I also think it was good for us to see the reaction of the players. We kept calm, continued to play, continued to create good chances to score, and scored twice.
"Today, I have seen a lot of positive things. We are working under many aspects, especially tactically, to try to improve what we did in the past seven months, high pressure, good intensity, the desire to win the ball when we lost it."
