2023 Dutch Grand Prix is set to take place at the Circuit Zandvoort in Zandvoort, Netherlands on August 27.
What to know about the Dutch Grand Prix
The first race took place in 1950 and 1952 was the year the Dutch Grand Prix became part of the third Formula One World Championship.
It designated the European Grand Prix twice, in 1962 and 1976, when this title was an honorary designation given each year to one Grand Prix race in Europe.
Most recent race
The Belgian MotoGP which was the 12th round of the 2023 Formula One World Championship season took place on July 30.
The race was won by Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing-Honda RBPT and he was followed by his teammate Sergio Perez, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc finish third.
Standings
Verstappen is still placed at the top of the World Drivers' Championship standings followed by Perez, Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin and Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton respectively.
Looking at the World Constructors' Championship standings, Red Bull Racing-Honda RBPT are placed at the top - followed by Mercedes and Aston Martin Aramco-Mercedes respectively.
Favourites
The 2022 Dutch Grand Prix champion Verstappen is a clear favourite to win this year's race as he is in great form at the moment.
On the other hand, the accomplished Hamilton, who has never won the Dutch Grand Prix title, will be keen to win the race for the first time.
While the trio of Leclerc, Perez and Alonso will also be looking to record a victory this weekend at the Circuit Zandvoort.

“It feels good to be back on the podium, especially for the last race for the first part before the summer break," Leclerc, who is placed fifth on the drivers' standings, said after the 2023 Belgian Grand Prix.
"It’s been a positive weekend overall in terms of pace, from FP1 to the race and it was really important for me to finish on a high note, and we did. It’s good. It wasn’t an easy race.
"The rain was there in the second stint, which didn’t make things easy. But all in all, we had the perfect management of the race.”
