Inter Milan will be determined to start the 2023/24 season with a win over AC Monza at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on 19 August.

The Big Grass Snake beat Torino 2-0 away on June 3 in their final game of the
2022/23 Serie A season and they are undefeated in their last two games in the competition.
Inter are also undefeated in their last three home matches in the legue having recorded three consecutive victories at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
Meanwhile, Monza ended the 2022/23 Serie A campaign with a 5-2 loss to Atalanta BC away on June 4 and they are winless in their last two games in the competition.
The defeat to Atalanta also ended the White and Reds' six-match unbeaten run on the road in the league having three draws and three victories as the visitors.

Monza raided Inter as they signed Roberto Gagliardini, Valentín Carboni and Danilo D'Ambrosio from the Big Grass Snake after releasing Andrea Barberis and Stefano Sensi.
While Marcus Thuram, Juan Cuadrado, Yann Sommer and Francesco Acerbi headline Inter's new signings having sold Andre Onana and Marcelo Brozović.

“I saw some good signs from the team, and there are still ten days to go until the start of the season," Inter's attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu said ahead of the 2023/24 season.
"We started well before the rain made things complicated. It wasn’t easy to play on such a heavy pitch. We need to analyse a few mistakes ahead of our first league match.
"But we’ve worked really well recently, including in Japan. Now, there are still ten days to put in the hard work and make further improvements. We want to start our league campaign off well and avoid the errors we made last year," he added.
"During pre-season, we’ve improved in possession and defensively, and today we tried to build from the back on several occasions. We just need to work on set-pieces. However, the only thing that counts is for us to be ready in ten days.”

Monza claimed a 1-0 win over Inter in their last meeting in the Serie A which was on 15 April 2023 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
The White and Reds are undefeated against the Big Grass Snake who have recorded one defeat and one draw against Monza in the elite league.
This will be Monza's second season in the Serie A.
