Jonathan Wilsenach will target another strong showing on the Betway Big Easy Tour when the amateur golfer competes at the Blu Label Unlimited Invitational #4, set for the State Mines Country Club from 18 to August 2026.
Form and Order of Merit:
Wilsenach finished third at the Betway Big Easy Tour 7 tournament in Soweto earlier this month, finishing just on stroke behind eventual winner Wandre Snyman after shooting 71, 70 and 71 (212, -4) across three rounds.
The South African secured 99.6 points to boost his Order of Merit total to 203.73 (from seven tournament showings). He is 26th on the log, the third highest amateur behind Korean Minjun Heo (381.23 points, fourth overall) and Luke Truter (247.07 points, 16th overall).
Why Wilsenach could challenge:
His strong showing in Soweto earlier this month underlines Wilsenach’s development and growing confidence. The Blu Label Unlimited Invitational #4 offer him the chance to rise even higher and continue his development.
About the State Mines Country Club:
State Mines Country Club is one of only four championship golf courses within the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan area and is consistently rated amongst the 100 best courses in the country.
Commissioned in 1909 by the State Mines Gold Mining Company as a nine-hole recreational facility for company employees, it was subsequently upgraded to an eighteen-hole course.
