The 30-year-old has a strong record at this venue, Sedgefield Country Club, including a fourth-place finish in 2022, a tie for seventh in 2024 and a tie for 11th last year.
Griffin also posted top-10 finishes at the Travelers Championship and Charles Schwab Challenge earlier this season and will be a strong contender at the Wyndham Championship.
