Chelsea will square off with Manchester City in an English Premier League game at the Stamford Bridge Stadium on Saturday.
The Blues suffered a 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers away in their previous league game which was played in midweek.
This was Chelsea's second defeat in their last three matches in the league having recorded a win over Fulham and defeat against Tottenham Hotspur, before facing Wolves.
However, they are currently enjoying an 11-match unbeaten run at home in the league having recorded six wins and five draws.
Chelsea will be keen to return to winning ways when they take on an in-form City side at home.
Meanwhile, Manchester City secured a 2-1 win over Watford away in their previous league game which was played in midweek.
The victory saw the Citizens extend their winning run in the league to seven games and they are also undefeated in their last 21 matches in the competition.
Furthermore, they are undefeated in their last 12 matches at home in the league having registered one draw and 11 victories.
City will be looking to extend their impressive winning run against a struggling Chelsea side.
The last time Chelsea and City clashed in a league game was on the 4th of March 2018.
The Citizens edged out the Blues 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
Bernado Silva scored the only goal of the match in the second-half.
