The Milwaukee Bucks will chase a big win in Texas when they face the Houston Rockets in an NBA Regular Season clash at the Toyota Center in Houston on the morning of Saturday 11 December 2021. Tip-off is at 02:00.
The Rockets, after a terrible start to the season, have found form of late and are hoping to rise into playoff contention in the Western Conference. This past weekend they edged the Orlando Magic 118-116 at home, with 24 points from Eric Gordon.

"It's all about growth," Gordon said. "Whenever you see a streak like this, you see and know what it takes to win. So you can never forget moments like this. And you can't never forget the moments beforehand when we lost all those games because during that time, it wasn't fun and it's fun now and we've got to keep it going."
The Bucks, meanwhile, are gradually working their way up the Eastern Conference standings, though they saw a winning run ended at eight games when they were beaten 97-93 at the Toronto Raptors – a clash in which they were without key man Giannis Antetokounmpo.

"He's got some soreness," Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said. "He feels it on certain things. I think we feel like it's hopefully something that's very short term and that a day or two and hopefully he'll be ready to go."
In head-to-head stats, the Rockets and the Bucks have met in 131 Regular Season games since 1968-69, with Milwaukee claiming 71 wins compared to 60 for Houston. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in May 2021, with the Bucks winning 141-133 at home thanks to 24 and 23 points from Brook Lopez and Khris Middleton respectively.
