Philadelphia 76ers will face the Los Angeles Lakers in a
National Basketball Association (NBA) match on December 10.
This will be the 288th meeting between the two teams since 1950 and it is one of the most heated rivalries in the history of the NBA.
The Lakers have the edge in this rivalry having registered 146 victories compared to the 76ers' 141 wins.

Their last meeting was on 24 March 2022 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and it was the 76ers who emerged victorious
Joel Embiid had 30 points and 10 rebounds, James Harden added 24 points and the 76ers hung on for a 126-121 victory over the Lakers without LeBron James.
The 76ers find themselves placed sixth on the Eastern Conference standings having recorded 12 victories and 11 defeats from 23 games.
Meanwhile, the Lakers are sitting on the 12th spot on the Western Conference standings having registered 10 wins and 12 defeats from 22 matches.

The 76ers coach Doc Rivers has revealed that Shake Milton will be in permanent rotation for the team with Embiid, Harden, and Tyrese Maxey nursing injuries.
“We’re deep. So everybody is not going to play. But certain guys will and Shake [Milton] will be one of them," River said
“There’s always a competition going on, a competition for minutes and Shake has proven that he should play. Hopefully that continues, you know? Can he play this role with shorter minutes? That’s what happens.
“Guys get a lot of minutes and they can play. They get shorter minutes and sometimes they can’t. But he will be able to. Shake is just another guard. We know we can use him, so that’s really good.”
