Sunday, 14 December 2025
Kick-off is at 16h00
West Ham United will be keen to deny Aston Villa a sixth
Premier League victory when they meet at the London Stadium on 14 December.
Current Form
The Hammers drew 1-1 with Brighton and Hove Albion away on 7 December as they extended their winless run to four matches in the league.
West Ham also lost to Liverpool FC in their last home match and the defeat ended their two-match unbeaten run in the Premier League at the London Stadium.
Meanwhile, Villa emerged as 2-1 winners over Arsenal FC at home on 6 December and they are unbeaten in their last five matches in the league, winning all of them.
However, Villans are also unbeaten in their last two matches on the road in the Premier League, having recorded two successive wins as the visitors.
Team News
Ollie Scarles is the only player on West Ham's injury list at the moment, but the London side don't have suspension worries.
Villa, on the other hand, have Tyrone Mings and Ross Barkley on their injury list, but they also do not have suspension concerns for the champions.
Quotes
"We're going into a busy time, and we're going to need a lot of players as well," West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen said after his side's draw with Brighton.
"We've had three games in a week, and we're going into Christmas, which is the busiest time in football. “We need to show the same work-rate, the same spirit that we've shown in the last few weeks.
"But I think we've also got the most important thing, spirit, and that's going to be massively important coming up into the new year.”
Head-to-Head
West Ham and Villa drew 1-1 in their last meeting in the league, which was in January 2025 at Villa Park.
Therefore, the Villans are unbeaten in their last five Premier League matches against the Hammers, having recorded two wins and three draws.
