After suffering defeat in their latest
Serie A assignment, AS Roma will hope to get back to winning ways this coming weekend when they make the trip to Unipol Domus to face Cagliari on Sunday.
Fourth placed Roma met reigning Serie A champions Napoli during matchday 13 and succumbed to a 1-0 loss in the process.
The defeat saw Roma’s two-match winning streak come to a grinding halt as the club have now recorded three wins and two losses in their last five matches.
Cagliari have had struggles of their own recently and bagged three losses and two draws in each of their previous five league matches.
Also, Cagliari will head into their latest match on the back of a 2-1 loss to Juventus last weekend and subsequently dropped into 15
thposition on the log.

Speaking after Roma’s defeat to Napoli, coach Gian Piero Gasperini urged his side to remain resolute in a highly competitive Serie Acompetition.
“It’s a shame; we’re disappointed. But it is a very competitive league this season, with many teams involved,” Gasperini said.
“Now we have a week’s time to do some work. Then there will be another intense run of fixtures. When you win, you have to look ahead.
“Likewise, when you lose, you have to learn and focus immediately on the next game.”
