Real Madrid will renew their rivalry with Atletico Madrid in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu on February 25.
Current Form
The Whites secured a 2-0 win over CA Osasuna away on February 18 and they are now undefeated in their last two matches in the league.
Real are also unbeaten in their last 14 matches at home having recorded four draws and 10 victories at the iconic Estadio Santiago Bernabéu.
While Atletico claimed a 1-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao at home on February 19 as they extended their unbeaten run to six matches in La Liga.
The Mattress Makers are also undefeated in their last three matches on the road having registered one draw and two successive wins as the away side.
What Is At Stake
Madrid are still placed second on the league standings and they cannot afford to drop more points as they are eight points behind leaders FC Barcelona.
The defending champions will be keen to secure a win over Atletico and hope that Barca drop points when they face UD Almeria on February 26.
Meanwhile, Atletico are placed fourth on the league standings and they will be desperate for a victory which would boost their ambitions of finishing in the top four.

Toni Kroos has resumed training ahead of the Madrid Derby having missed the game against Osasuna due to an injury and his Real teammate Ferland Mendy remains injured.
On the other hand, Atletico have one player on their injury-list and it is Thomas Lemar as they look to grab the Madrid Derby bragging rights.

Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti will once again look to the in-form Vinicius Junior who grabbed his fourth assist of the season in La Liga in the win over Osasuna.
While Atletico will pin their hopes of defeating the Whites on Antoine Griezmann who scored the winning goal against Bilbao and he will be confident of scoring in the Madrid Derby.
