Visit Iberostar Estadi
Palma de Mallorca, Spain
Sunday, 5 February 2023
Kick-off is at 15h00

Real Mallorca will go head to head with Real Madrid in a Spanish La Liga match at the Iberostar Estadi on February 5.

The Vermillions suffered a 2-0 defeat to Cadiz CF away in their last league match which was played on January 28.

It was their second defeat in their last three matches in this competition, while the other game ended in a win before facing Cadiz.

However, the Vermillions are unbeaten in their last four matches at home in La Liga having recorded one draw and three successive wins as the Visit Iberostar Estadi.

Meanwhile, Madrid were held to a 0-0 draw by Real Sociedad at home in their last league encounter which was played on January 29.

As a result, the Whites are now undefeated in their last two matches in the league having recorded one draw and one victory.

Madrid have won two of their last three matches on the road in La Liga, while the other game ended in a defeat as the away side.

"We did enough to win, we created lots of chances. They did too in the second half, but we deserved to win on the whole today," Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois said after their clash with Sociedad.

"It's disappointing, but Real are a good side and can cause you problems. It's a draw that's a bit disappointing. The goalkeepers usually have great games here.

}Remiro is a top keeper and he produced some great saves, especially the one from Vini when he tried to dink it over him. He's had a great game and it's a shame we couldn't get a goal."

The last meeting between Mallorca and Madrid in a league match was on 11 September 2022.

Madrid proved too strong for Mallorca as they emerged as 4-1 winners in a match that was played at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu - the second largest stadium in Spain.
