The former Italian champions will reduce the gap between them and Atalanta if they defeat Torino who are determined to grab the Derby della Mole bragging rights.

Torino are placed ninth on the league standings and they will leapfrog Juventus if they defeat US Cremonese on February 20 ahead of the derby encounter.

Team News

Juventus trio of Paul Pogba, Fabio Miretti and Arkadiusz Milik are all injured, while Kaio Jorge is working on his match fitness.

On the other hand, Torino will be without Pietro Pellegri, Samuele Ricci, David Zima and Valentino Lazaro are all out injured coming into the Derby della Mole clash.

Key Players

Dusan Vlahovic, who is Juventus' top scorer with eight goals in the Serie A this season, could be the man to propel the Old Lady to a victory against their city rivals.

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri will have to come up with a plan to contain Aleksey Miranchuk who is Torino's top scorer with four goals and he makes the Maroons tick.

Quotes

"Playing in La Spezia is always difficult, the team was also tired due to the Europa League match. However, our opponents didn't have any real chances throughout the first half, we should have managed possession better," Allegri said after the match against Spezia.

"We prepared for the match by trying to let our forwards play in the best way. I’m satisfied with everyone: Vlahovic, [Moise] Kean - who scored a good goal, [Angel] Di Maria. However, Spezia played a good game, we still have to improve in controlling the match, we have to be more relaxed, we were often too hasty.

"I'm also happy because [Leonardo] Bonucci's back, he's our captain and he's finding form. And now let's think about Nantes - it will be like a final for us."

Head-to-Head

Juventus edged out Torino 1-0 in their last meeting in the league which was on 15 October 2022 at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

The win extended the Old Lady's unbeaten run against the Maroons to 15 matches in the Serie A having recorded 11 wins and four draws.
