Kevin Durant will look to join an elite group of players when he lines up for the Western Conference All-Stars at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on the morning of Monday, February 19.
The Phoenix Suns power forward is set to make his 14th appearance in the
NBA All-Star Game and has been named MVP on two occasions, in 2012 and 2019.
Only six players have won the award three times or more, with Bob Pettit and Kobe Bryant sharing the record of four each. Durant is one behind Oscar Robertson, Michael Jordan, Shaquille O'Neal and LeBron James.
At the age of 35, he is still regarded amongst the best 10 players in the NBA and averages 28.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists for the Suns this season.

Durant moved up to 129th on the NBA's all-time regular season games played list with his 1,033th appearance against Sacramento Kings on Wednesday, February 14.
Just three days earlier Phoenix fell to Golden State Warriors in a nail-biting 113-112 defeat as Steph Curry hit a game-winning three-pointer with just 0.7 seconds left on the clock.
Curry was overlooked as a starter for the Western Conference All-Stars, having only been named as a reserve, but Durant showered his former Warriors team-mate with special praise.
"All-time great. The greatest ever at his position. Top-five ever," Durant stated. "If you give him a look like that for the game, he's licking his chops."
