Kick-off: 15:00

Nottingham Forest will be out to deny Liverpool FC a second consecutive Premier League win when they collide at the City Ground on 23 February.

Current Form

Forest drew 0-0 with Wolverhampton Wanderers at home on 11 February as they extended their winless run to three matches in the English top tier, recording two draws and one defeat.

The Tricky Trees are also winless in their last five home matches in the Premier League, having recorded three successive draws and two consecutive defeats at the City Ground.

Meanwhile, Liverpool claimed a 1-0 win over Sunderland away on 11 February and it was their second victory in their last three games in the English top-flight, while the other match ended in a defeat.

The win also ended the Reds' three-match winless run on the road in the Premier League, having registered two successive draws and one defeat as the away side.

Team News

Forest have Willy Boly, Murillo, Matz Sels, Nicolò Savona, Chris Wood, John Victor and Callum Hudson-Odoi on their injury list, with no confirmed suspensions at this stage.

Liverpool, on the other hand, also don't have suspension woes, but Wataru Endo, Jeremie Frimpong, Conor Bradley, Alexander Isak, Giovanni Leoni and Stefan Bajcetic are out injured.

Quotes

"It's very nice to have him on the scoresheet again and him having an assist. But I think what I like the most at the moment, that he's scoring goals is something you can almost expect, but he also helps the team a lot defensively," Liverpool manager Arne Slot said of Mohamed Salah after he scored and provided an assist against Brighton on February 14.

"That is something very positive – what the team also needs – and I think more and more players are now capable of playing at this intensity level every three days. That is where we struggled a lot in the beginning of the season, where it was sometimes hard for us to bring the intensity level once a week, let alone every three days.

"But now we're able to do so, we see more and more the quality we have. That's why I've said so many times already that the future looks really bright for this club with these players, and I think the recent seven, eight, nine, 10 games are showing that as well."

Head-to-Head

Forest thrashed Liverpool 3-0 in their last Premier League meeting which was at Anfield in November 2025.

Therefore, the Tricky Trees are undefeated in their last three league games against the Reds, having recorded two wins and one draw.
