Jon Rahm will be eager to become the first Spanish golfer to win the Farmers Insurance Open twice when he competes in this year's event.
The world number one golfer won this tournament in 2017 as he became the second Spaniard to lift the trophy after José María Olazábal who clinched it in 2002.
Rahm won with a 60-foot eagle putt on the final hole to notch his maiden
PGA Tour title and he jumped from 137th to 46th in the Official World Golf Ranking with the win.

Therefore, he gained entry into the Masters Tournament, The Players Championship, the PGA Championship, and World Golf Championships events.
The man nicknamed Rahmbo came close to winning the Farmers Insurance Open for the second time in 2020 as he was outsmarted by Marc Leishman in the playoff round.
Leishman raced from four shots behind with a 7-under 65 and won the competition when Rahmbo couldn't match his eagle putt from 2017.
Since the turn of the year, Rahmbo has taken part in the Sentry Tournament of Champions at Kapalua Resort in Hawaii and American Express in California, USA without winning the competitions.

When PGA Tour senior communications manager John Bush recently mentioned that Rahm had an impressive 15 top-10s last season.
Rahm jumped in and said: "I'm going to say 16 with an asterisk," as he was introduced to the media at the Sentry Tournament of Champions.
"I'm pretty sure I would have finished top-10 that week [at the US Open], you know. So let's say 16."
Tiger Woods is the most successful golfer in the history of the Farmers Insurance Open having won the tournament a record seven times.
