Girona FC will battle it out with Sevilla FC in a

The White and Reds held RCD Espanyol to a 2-2 draw away in their last league match which was played on January 7.

However, the White and Reds are also undefeated in their last four matches at home in La Liga having registered three draws and one win in Girona.
"I'm leaving the stadium sad because we can't score two goals and not win games," Girona manager Michel said after their draw against Espanyol.
"We have drawn 2-2, which is fine for the viewer, but we must try to keep a clean sheet. We must convert our chances.
"Why have a lot of the ball if we don't shoot? so we reached the opponents' box 25 times and took shots at goal as many times as the opponents."

Meanwhile, Sevilla secured a 2-1 win over Getafe CF at home in their last league game which was played on January 7.
As a result, Sevillistas are now unbeaten in their last two matches in this competition having registered one victory and one draw.
However, Sevilla are winless in their last three matches on the road in La Liga having recorded two successive draws and one defeat as the visitors.
The last meeting between Girona and Sevilla in a league match was on 28 April 2019.
Girona ran out 1-0 winners over Sevilla in a match that was played at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi which was built and opened in 1970.
