AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri believes that the Italian giants ‘have to act’ in their bid to clinch the 2025/26 Serie A title as they prepare to take on Cagliari on Friday night.
Milan will head into their next tie on the back of a convincing 3-0 win over Verona this past weekend and trail the summit by one point after 16 matches played.
Overall, Milan have been in fine form of late and recorded four wins and one draw in their last five league encounters.
Cagliari on the other hand find themselves lingering in 14th position after their 2-1 win against Torino last Saturday.
The Rossoblu have now jotted down two wins, two losses and one draw in their previous handful of ties, while they accumulated 18 points from 17 games so far.
Speaking on AC Milan’s Serie A title challenge this season, Massimiliano Allegri expressed that his side have to do the talking on the pitch amid making improvements throughout the campaign.
"We absolutely must not talk, we only have to act,” Allegri said.
“We need to think little, run a lot, play, and manage the ball better after the 3-0.
“We have to work on what we can improve, which is a lot, and set aside what we did well."
